Add in head-turning style, more standard power than the competition and tons of interior volume, and you won’t find a better SUV this year.
With a great inventory and an affordable price, we invite you in to Waikem Hyundai today to see this incredible new SUV!
Third Row, 8 Passengers
You can fit up to 8 people inside a Hyundai Palisade. The Palisade has configurations for 8 (two rear benches) and 7 (captain’s chairs). The Palisade is now the biggest Hyundai SUV. It’s 196.1 inches long; 77.8 inches wide with a 114.2 inch wheelbase.
On the inside, Palisade has more interior first and second row legroom than vehicles from Honda, Nissan and Ford. It also has more cargo room behind the third row than vehicles from Toyota, Honda and Nissan.
Power folding rear seats makes storage easier than ever. One-touch second row seat access makes it easy for the kids to load up in the third row.
The optional Driver Talk In-car Intercom makes it easy to communicate with the kids. Instead of turning around and yelling, simply push a microphone button and your instructions will play through the speakers. You’ll feel like an airplane pilot!

Hyundai Palisade Safety Features

Many of the advanced safety features now come standard on Hyundai Palisade!

  • Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist – when backing up, the vehicle will apply the brakes and bells will chime if a car or pedestrian is coming from the left or right.
  • Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian Detection – If traffic is stopped ahead, sensors will alert you and apply the brakes to try and prevent an accident. It uses the same logic with joggers, bikers, or kids that may run on to the streets.
  • Lane Keeping Assist – Chimes will ring, and the vehicle will swerve back in to the lane if you sway without signaling.
  • Driver Attention Warning – Data is stored and recorded by the vehicle and if it detects potential driver fatigue, alerts will ring and encourage the driver to pull off the road and take a rest.
  • One of the new standard safety features is called safe exit. Once the vehicle is shut off, sensors monitor if anyone is still in the car. Alerts will chime if it detects a child or pet, ensuring that no one accidentally gets left behind.
  • Blind Spot Collision Avoidance Assist are sensors that monitor what’s happening in the blind spot. The vehicle automatically shifts back into your lane and bells chime if you attempt to shift lanes when another car is in your blind spot.

A new optional feature is a blind view monitor. Like a backup camera, this camera is on the side mirror and displays on the center console when you activate the turn signal.

Hyundai Palisade engine and power

The Palisade has a 3.8L V6 dual CVVT, direct-injected engine. It’s Hyundai’s most power standard engine. It produces 291 horsepower, and 262 lb.-ft of torque at 5,000 rpm.

Palisade offers more standard horsepower than any other SUV in its competitive set and an unsurpassed level of torque. Palisade delivers that power to the wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission with a multi-plate torque converter.

Hyundai Palisade is offered in both front wheel drive and all wheel drive.

Palisade also offers a newly-developed Snow Mode on its advanced HTRAC AWD system, with special traction tuning for snow, optimizing available traction and driver control in adverse conditions. The Drive Mode System’s Snow Mode adjusts front and rear torque distribution, left and right wheel slip control, engine torque and shift patterns according to available traction levels. In addition, Palisade’s AWD HTRAC system includes an AWD locking-differential function for challenging traction situations.

Hyundai Palisade Technology

A number of tech options make it easy to safely stay connected on the daily drive. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard on every new Palisade. This innovative technology makes it easy to sync your phone and car. You can make and take hands-free calls, send and read texts with your voice, access your songs and podcasts, access your map software and even safely use the most popular apps from your phone.

The Palisade allows you to connect two Bluetooth devices at once – one for streaming and one for hands-free calling.

It offers seven USB ports and every device stays charged.

Rear sleep mode is great when you’re driving with children. The rear speakers will shut off, but the front ones will still play. You can enjoy the ride while the kids enjoy a nice nap.

The optional wireless charging pad makes it easy to charge your phone, you just put on the pad and it keeps your battery full.

Hyundai Palisade Design
The Palisade offers head-turning design. From the front, a dominant, bold and wide cascading grille clearly represents a premium SUV. Separated composite headlamps and a vertically-connected forward lighting signature create a strong and distinctive front demeanor, with available LED headlights, LED daytime running lights and LED turn-signal mirrors. A powerful, extended hood profile creates an impressive road presence, while bold C-pillars and a panoramic glass side graphic convey generous third-row spaciousness. Full volume over-fenders and body sides offer muscular detailing. The rear view emphasizes a wide and stable stance via sinuous detailing and a vertical LED rear taillamp design. Panoramic rear glass coupled with a cutaway roof provides a generous sense of spaciousness to rear passengers. Available oversized 20-inch alloy wheels further fill out the Palisade flagship presence.
Inside it offers optional premium, quilted Nappa leather, while on the instrument panel, smooth woodgrain trim in a wraparound interior design create a spacious, comfortable ambience.
Palisade will be available in a number of exterior colors, including: Beckets Black, White Cream, Lagoon Silver, Steel Graphite, Sierra Burgundy, Moonlight Cloud and Forest Rain. Interior combinations include unique molding accent colors tailored to the exterior combination.
